Commerce Education in BASE

As the leader in student training, BASE prepares students to take not only the PU Board commerce examinations but also highly competitive professional examinations like CA, CMA, CS and CLAT.

BASE Commerce program

Commerce Education is a new venture by BASE, commenced from the academic year 2018-19. The main objective is to provide high quality commerce education in a systematic and structured way so as to attract the most talented students toward the field of commerce.

BASE is committed towards making a winner out of every sincere student aspiring to join the professional courses. With the revised syllabus, students have a great opportunity to perform well in reknowned professional exams like Chartered Accountancy (CA), Cost and Management Accountancy(CMA), Company Secretary (CS) and Law. Also, the students have the opportunity to secure admissions in the Indian Institute of Managements(IIMs) located at various places in the country. They can take up Civil Services exams after graduation and/or pursue post-graduate courses in Commerce and Management.

Why BASE Commerce training?

The performance in the Board and Foundation courses is extremely important for a student’s career. While the board exams measure one’s subject knowledge, professional exams will test one’s application skills. Taken together, they will decide what a student will do in the future. The objective of PreUni commerce program is to train the students to excel both in board exams and entrance exams for professional courses.

The Program

PreUni Commerce program is aimed at helping students achieve success in both PUC and Foundation courses for the Professional courses like CA, CMA, CS, CLAT etc.

If a student aims to succeed in CA/CMA/CS/CLAT, then BASE PU Commerce Training is an ideal program. Even if the students do not want to pursue the professional courses, they would be able to pursue their career in Entrepreneurship or Diploma or specialised courses or any other avenue under Every Student Must Succeed(ESMS) scheme.

Who can enroll?

This program is meant for students who have completed Class X in State Board, ICSE Board or CBSE Board and have opted to pursue Plus two education in a PU College.

Scholarships and Fees Concessions

BASE offers scholarships and fees concessions to motivate and encourage learning to the deserving students. For knowing more about eligibility to scholarship, please contact your nearest BASE center.

Business Lab

A business lab is a unique virtual environment created for the commerce students to have the experience of real world activities related to commerce. Here, the students are enabled to understand the theories learnt in the class room in a practical way. For example: filling up a voucher, writing a cheque, creating a bill, writing a debit note and credit note etc. They also learn the software such as Tally, to record the transactions and getting the final reports.
Thus, it is an attempt to bridge the gap between what the students learn in the class rooms and what actually happens in the real world.
